Position Details – Lawn Care Technician
The Chop Shop Lawn Care is currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. This position involves maintaining residential and commercial properties while delivering professional and consistent service to our customers.
Typical Responsibilities May Include:
• Lawn mowing and routine lawn maintenance
• String trimming and edging around sidewalks and driveways
• Leaf blowing and general property cleanup
• Bush trimming and light garden maintenance
• Fall cleanups and seasonal property maintenance
• Snow removal services during winter months
• Operating lawn care equipment safely and responsibly
Work Schedule
• Typical work hours are 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Workdays vary depending on route schedules and seasonal demand
• Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions
Compensation
• Starting pay: $16 per hour
• 30-minute lunch break provided
• Opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons
Basic Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor
• Ability to lift equipment and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license preferred (not required for all positions)
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but Good)
Experience with the following equipment is a plus:
• Push mowers or riding mowers
• String trimmers
• Edgers
• Leaf blowers
• Hedge trimmers
